One of the projects I’m most proud of creating in Australia was for
the Women’s National Team, the Matildas.

Heading into the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 on home soil, our challenge was to reignite national energy while evolving the platform, ‘Til It’s Done’.

We focused on what truly sets the Tillies apart: what’s inside. Grit. Resilience. Relentless determination.

From that insight, we reimagined Waltzing Matilda, a song long associated with Australia’s carefree spirit, and gave it new meaning. Delivered softly by a 14-year-old girl, the familiar lyrics play against the steely intensity of the Matildas. Brutal training. Tactical focus. Physical exhaustion. Heritage meets modern ambition.

By weaving in the team’s literal namesake and the voice of a young girl who sees herself in them, the film connects the Matildas’ journey to the next generation.

It also pays tribute to the youngest victim of the 2025 Bondi attack, grounding the story in resilience beyond sport.
